Our goal since GEFEG mbH was founded in 1990: innovative and intelligent solutions for the management of business data and their specifications for data exchange. Our products and solutions support companies and organizations in increasing the consistency, interoperability and quality of their metadata for the electronic handling of business processes. Users benefit from the built-in compliance of specifications with industry-specific, national or international standards. Users of GEFEG products achieve faster time-to-market, higher message quality and more effective interoperability.

Our products and solutions are industry-independent and include the collaboration environment [GEFEG.BYO], the content development software GEFEG.FX, the web-based GEFEG.Portal and a variety of business standards for electronic data exchange. Professional services in the areas of data harmonization, reuse and adaptation of data, development, adaptation, documentation and maintenance of standards for electronic data processing complete our portfolio.

We are also involved in the development of international standards, e.g. the WCO data model, the UN/CEFACT Core Components Library, UN/EDIFACT and other B2B standards.

Over the past decades, we have successfully completed numerous successful projects for international companies and organizations such as DHL, Schenker, CITES and for SMEs in industries as diverse as transport, automotive suppliers, consumer goods, finance, energy and tire manufacturing.More than 700 customers with maintenance contracts in 35 countries currently use GEFEG software products.
